Curling has deep roots in the Northumberland area, dating back to the 1860’s when the sport was operated on numerous outdoor rinks.

The WNCC operates out of the Town of Cobourg’s Jack Heenan Arena. The Club’s five sheet facility offers curling to all community groups and its 380+ members hail from all over Northumberland County.

Curling is attracting new members from a variety of age groups in Northumberland County. The Club’s extensive membership base provides opportunities for healthy competition among members and continued growth as well as a welcoming environment for new athletes to learn the game.
